Endometriosis awareness in the workplace

Endometriosis affects 1 in 7 Australian women today. Despite the growing number of diagnoses, a significant gap remains in understanding what endometriosis truly is — is it just a difficult period, or something more serious?

This guidebook aims to help you start that important conversation with your employer, a discussion you may have been dreading or didn't know how to initiate. It’s designed to be straightforward, offering clear information to educate others about the condition you're living with.

The goal is to help break the stigma surrounding Endometriosis and to encourage workplace recognition that supports flexible work arrangements when needed.

This project was developed as part of a Major Project course at Griffith University.
