QCAD Promotional Guide

This project aims to create streamlined and accessible resources tailored for individuals with ADHD and those prone to overstimulation, enabling them to make informed decisions and succeed in their career paths at the Queensland College of Art and Design (QCAD). By fostering an inclusive environment, the initiative seeks to improve resource usability, making information clear, relatable, and engaging.

To achieve these objectives, the following design elements were incorporated:

  • Bold, vibrant colour schemes to capture attention

  • Purposeful imagery to visually support key points

  • Simplified, well-structured text for easier comprehension

  • Unique graphics, including squiggle motifs, to add visual interest

  • QR codes providing quick access to additional details

  • Directional arrows to guide the reader through the content

  • Perspectives from individuals with ADHD to enhance relatability and trust

  • Ample white space to reduce sensory overload and improve focus

This project was developed as part of a typography course at Griffith University.
